Travel from Brisbane or Coolangatta Airports to the conference venue on Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise is straightforward. The public transport website Translink can be used to plan a bus or train trip to the conference venue or nearby (use the street name of your hotel if necessary). Some hotels offer a shuttle service to and from the Coolangatta airport for a small fee.
From Coolangatta airport to the conference venue:
By public transport:
Take a bus from Coolangatta Airport to Broadbeach South and catch a tram to Surfers Paradise station. This service runs every 7 mins during the day time and the journey will take about 50 mins. G-Link: In July 2014, the face of public transport on the Gold Coast changed forever, with the official commissioning of the Gold Coast light rail. Linking Helensvale Railway Station to Broadbeach. A G-Link station (Surfers Paradise) is located one block south of Mantra Legends Hotel.
By Shuttle bus:

Some hotels also offer a shuttle bus to and from Coolangatta Airport for a small fee, but this must be arranged individually
Surfers Paradise is 22km from Coolangatta. A taxi to Surfers Paradise will cost between $40 to $60 one way. A taxi from the Coolangatta Airport to the venue is about a half hour drive.
From Brisbane Airport to the conference venue:
By public transport:

Take the air train from Brisbane airport to Helensvale station and catch the GLink to Surfers Paradise. These services run every 30mins during the day time and the journey will take about 2h 30mins. Surfers Paradise is 85km south east of Brisbane city. A taxi to Surfers Paradise is approximately between $180 to $240 one way. A taxi from the Brisbane Airport to the venue is about an hour’s drive.
